With an unbridled passion for hip hop, Mz Kitti made the transition into radio and the world of entertainment in 2000, when she began her career as an intern with Radio One in Washington D.C. Her start took her from Sports talk radio to Gospel and Political talk radio. She refined her skills as Board Operator for G.W. on the Hill with host George Wilson, Board Operator and subsequent Asst. Producer at Sports Talk Radio station WOL 1450am, and Gospel station Spirit 1340am.

These early years prepared Mz Kitti for the unique opportunity she would soon undertake. In 2001 Mz Kitti was tapped for the highly sought after role of On Air Personality for XM Satellite Radio’s 66 Raw an uncut hip hop station. This hard hitting sweet talker took the hip hop world by storm. She along with Program Director, The General Leo G., embraced the challenge of crafting the identity and building listenership for both XM’s 66 Raw and 65 the Rhyme. Listeners gravitated toward her energy and no nonsense approach. A genuine lover of hip hop from childhood when she would visit the Apollo Theater for shows her uncle produced, she holds an unrivaled knowledge of the genre. Her authenticity earned her the respect of not only her followers, but also from the ranks of entertainment heavy hitters. Over the years, Mz Kitti has gained interviews with a who’s who of A listers. With an ease and savvy behind the mic artists found a confidant in Mz Kitti. She has dished with everyone from LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, and Young Jeezy to 50 cent, Russell Simmons and Ms. Voletta Wallace, mother of the late Notorious B.I.G.

A force on the technical end as well, Mz Kitti served as Music Director for both XM 66Raw and XM 65 Rhyme. As a Music Director, she crafted the sound XM’s urban hip hop stations became known for. In her time, subscriptions for XM grew to over 18 million subscribers. She gave her listeners top notch content through commercials she produced and voice overs. She is a seasoned Engineer with experience that includes voice tracking, state of the art 360 and Shortcut.

Away from the airwaves, Mz Kitti is no less dynamic. Mz Kitti lit up the internet when she was featured as the Myspace profile of the week and hosted their Unsigned Hype show at The Palms in Las Vegas. A hot commodity, she was also tapped to host The Scream Tour, Hot Import Nights from 2004-2007 and the Dub Tour from 2004-2008. With the Dub tour, Mz Kitti delivered her signature meow and rocked stages from Atlanta, Chicago, and LA to Miami, Houston, Detroit, Nashville, Detroit and Giant Stadium in New York. She was a key force in branding for XM and building listenership for the satellite giant. Through her success in radio and on the road, Mz Kitti is in high demand. She has been sought after to host events at premiere venues around the country including Club Dreams (Atlanta), Love and Club Ibiza (Washington D.C.), Mansion (Miami). A favorite of celebrities, she has been a host for the Hannibal Navy Foundation event in San Francisco with the 49ers and Chris Webbers Bada Bling Celebrity Weekend fundraiser at Planet Hollywood.

Ever the pioneer, Mz Kitti made her departure from SiriusXM and recruited by legendary hip hop artist and host Eric B to join his Eric B and Friends morning show in 2009 on Proving that magic is found wherever she’s at, Kitti again rocked the airwaves, delivering that raw entertainment that keeps her fans coming back for more. In her spare time Mz Kitti is a wife and mother, and continues to be a contributor to her hip hop roots at
